We invite you to the 13th edition of the Supporting Health by Technology Conference taking place in Groningen on Thursday, 30th and Friday, 31st of May 2024.

The conference covers topics like eHealth, mHealth, ePublic Health, eMental Health, Big data for Health, Self-tracking, Smart coaching, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and related fields.

You can attend various oral presentations, symposia, workshops, demos, and poster presentations. The keynote speakers will be presented later. We hope that you will participate and interactively discuss the development, evaluation and implementation of eHealth interventions and technologies.

Keynote speaker

Professor Emily Cross

Prof. Emily Cross is a professor at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich, Switzerland, and leads the Social Brain Sciences Professorship and co-​directs the Social Brain in Action Laboratory. Her research focuses among others on developing innovative neurocognitive paradigms to explore the mechanisms and consequences of people’s social engagement with robots.

Keynote speaker

Professor André Dekker

Prof. André Dekker is a professor of Clinical Data Science and board certified Medical Physicist at the Maastricht University, Maastricht UMC+ and Maastro Clinic, Maastricht, The Netherlands. His research focuses on building global FAIR data sharing infrastructures, using AI to learn health prediction models from this data, and applying AI driven prediction models to improve health.

We invite you to submit your abstract for an oral presentation, poster presentation, symposium or a demonstration. Other kinds of formats are also encouraged, please let us know. We are looking forward to hearing about your newest research findings and all innovative developments in the field of health and technology. The extended deadline for submission is February 22, 2024.

We want to maximize interaction and exchange of ideas between delegates during the conference. Perhaps you want to start a consortium and apply for funding, teach a certain technique, give a (pre-conference) workshop, or write a White paper with fellow researchers.
